Use the radio command buttons!

RRS Supercharged and CLS550 (W218)
Ok...I didn't realize the instructions were in the bottom of the description part of the sales page. I played with it a little and the unit works as advertised. VR gave a great description of how the unit works so I won't repeat what was already said. Well worth the money.

Check out this video where he explains how to do it on cars without the touch pad:

I'm tempted on trying on my 2014 W212 Wagon...
Any of you guys can give me a bit of feedback about the loss of ride quality when lowering the car?
My idea is just to lower a little bit (1 finger +-).

thanks in advance

Are you just planning to lower the back, I was under the impression only the rears had adjustable air suspension

On all S212 (W212 Wagon) as standard comes with air suspension (to keep it leveled when some weight is added), but as an option can come equipped with full Airmatic with adjustable suspension (Confort, Sport and Raised settings).

Mine come with the Airmatic on all corners, so with this module I should lower front and rear as desired. (hopefully :-))

I don’t think lowering affects the ride quality that much. At least I didn’t notice anything that stood out from lowering 20mm. The change to 20” wheels and slightly lower profile tires was a bit noticeable in that every man hole cover and bump can be felt a bit more clearly although even that was a subtle change. I actually use comfort mode now more since the fender gaps no longer look hideous at the slightly higher ride height. I’m sure it will depend on how much you lower it. The great thing about this module is that it’s easily adjustable.

Thanks a lot for the inputs.
The idea is really just to decrease the fender gaps (probably further 10mm from the sport mode). Where I live (Germany ) I'm lucky to have very good roads...but I wouldn't like to loose all of the comfort of the airmatic :-)

Finally got around to trying it out today!
It works exactly as advertised.

First I had the car in position 1 and got this weird message. Make sure your ignition is on for itAnyone tried this OBD2 Lowering Module?-photo294.jpg

I didn't play with the manual mode I only put it on the "Low" setting and it's low enough for me honestly
Front lowered

Rear lowered

As soon as I changed the settings and started the engine I put my hand on the tire and could feel it lowering and it's pretty fast.

Very satisfied with this device! To anyone thinking twice about it; Don't!

Lol you did the same thing as me. I didn't have the car and bought a bunch of parts for it before even making a purchase. I knew I was going to get a CLS and didn't care

Nothing wrong with that. The sooner the better.

What year and color combo did you get?

Yes! Mine is a 12. After you buy he will ask you for a vin to confirm and then you go ahead and actually purchase (2 steps on eBay)

Good luck

both audio head units supported NTG4.5 and NTG 5s1 (both COMAND and Audio20) so any CLS C218 with airmatic suspension (SA489) supported no problem

Would this void the airmatic suspension warranty? Got another 4 years on my coverage, wouldn't want to jeopardize that lol.
