DJ Rabbi's "Build" Thread

Hello All,

I sold my CLS55 back in 2014 but regretted doing such. I finally got out of my Lexus and lease and pulled the trigger on a CLS550. Magno Grey paint. Below are my plans and mods. I will update pics accordingly as I go along.

Following....interested on spacers. Not very familiar with what’s in play and def do not want to worry about negatively affecting any handling characteristics. Congrats on the buy.

Looking good. Tell me more about the exhaust... What did you change exactly? Where did you get the parts? Cost?

I got the E63 exhaust and it welded right up. Total cost with install was $700

Sorry for the questions... but details man! :)

Where did you get it from? At what point did you connect it to the stock system? Any change in sound or sounds the same?

Also what diffuser are you using? Where did you get it from.

Massive improvements already! Looks great.

Im also interested in your exhaust setup. Is it a full system or just mufflers? How did you fit the quad tips with the stock diffuser?

The wheel and tire combination fit perfect on you car with the lowering. Could you share with us about what size of wheel, offset and tire you put on your car?

I went with 19s so I can run them all year round with all season tires.

19x8.5 ET 25 255/35/19
19x9.5 ET 28 285/35/19

The wheels look perfectly flash with the fender. Is this offset you mention (25 front and 35 rear) with or without the 10mm front and 20mm rear spacers?

Front has 10MM spacer with a ET35 wheel and rear is 48MM wheel with 20MM spacer

Great looking car!!! I just got my gloss black emblem star installed in the back trunk and debadged my cls550 black on black. I'm hoping to get a paint correction next haven't decided which ceramic coating to go with either ceramic pro or opticoat.
