CLS Interior Trim Replacement
Hey all,
I am looking for the right CLS550. Currently drive a Golf R.
There are a number of options that I want to have, but are not deal breakers (night vision, heated wheel, amg steering wheel).
HOWEVER, I need a black interior without wood grain trim. I do not feel the wood on black looks good at all (compared to the black ash or the piano black). I am having a terrible time finding this option alone. However, I have found a number of cars with other options suiting me, but the wood grain has held me up from buying. It seems like 90-95% of these cars have wood grain.
So, my question to you guys is, how feasible is it to swap out the wood grain trim pieces for black ash or piano black? Does anyone have a source online for these particular parts? Or search terms? How tough is it to replace these parts w/o damaging the interior?
Thank you

I have the black ash and the front dash is cracking already so I also recommend wrapping what you can and this will reduce the number of pieces you replace. The rear center console pieces are flexible roller cover and will be hard to wrap and retain the smooth operation.
