Damn my first post got deleted so here i go again.

I am totally new to this tuning world so if you guys could answer some basic questions for me that would be greatly appreciated.

Does this include the OBD reader or do we purchase our own and send to you?

I just got downpipes and an H pipe isntalled on my 2012 CLS550. The next step would be a tune correct? ( Will your tune get rid of the check engine caused by the O2 sensor from removing the cats?)

You guys have a Stage 1 and Stage 2. What are the differences in them and do any require modification to the car itself as far as parts go?

Since this a OBD flash i am assuming we can go back to stock and tune at anytime we want? How long does this process usually take?

Does your tune offer a "Burble" sound or anything similar?

Is there any videos of a CLS550 with your tune install we could see?

Sorry if this is a lot, i was going to DM you guys but im sure some other users have similar questions.

Oh, i just called him like 5 minutes ago.
So they don't have the OBD plug-in device ready YET. Sometime next year it will be available. But for now, they can only tune it via your ECU You'd have to mail them your ECU and they'll send it back within one day. If you get the ECU tune now and want to switch to OBD, like a reflash, that'll be anywhere from $40 to $100. Because with ECU tuning, you're stuck with all that power and torque and can't switch as quick as OBD plug-ins; such you can take it off and plug it back in. So I rather get the OBD than the ECU tune. But if it's only like less than $100 to switch over, I mighttttt give it a go. That $40 to 100 fee would be based on how long ago you had the tune.

Very interesting! I would be ok with them coming out with an OBD tune next year. The price is very teasing to do it now. Wondering if they would allow for me to pay now and just wait for the obd after...

I'll give them a call tomorrow and find out about my questions and update here.

A lot of people are happy with their tune from them so that makes it even better.

My problem is I am under extended CPO until mid 2019 and I'm sure the tune would be Bligh for the dealer to claim a warranty denial but the opinions on that seem scattered too.

I'm just holding on because I rather get the OBD tune than the ECU. Buttt, I think he mentioned that if you are getting the OBD tune than ECU, the OBD device itself costs $200 + $800 for the tune. If that's the case, ECU is cheaper, but then I really like the idea of OBD device as you can put it on and take it off as you please.

The price stays put till the end of the month, so I will be talking it over with one of my friends and see what should be done. Because ECU to OBD, reflash, is $40 to $100. But another $200 for OBD device from them.

I'm planning to keep the car for a long time or maybe as long as it lasts. So I do have the option to get the ECU tune and just forget about it lol

Seems like AMR tuning and Eurocharged went ahead and released this today.

I went with AMR and waiting for the OBD to be shipped.

Not throwing shade at OE but I asked a bunch of questions and didn't get a clear response.

With these tunes being close to 2k I believe they should provide better service. Anyway they have a great reputation here and I'm sure their work speaks for itself and this is just my experience.

Nah I'm gonna hold off this offer and wait out. Idk what to do with my exhaust yet lol once I do that, then I will start looking into the tune again. I have some other stuff to look at for now, such as wheels and lowering module.
