OBD Lowering Module - VIN specific?
Does anyone know if the OBD lowering modules are tied to a specific VIN?
When ordering they ask for VIN but I believe that is just for compatibility.
My son sold his 15 S550 and wants to give me his lowering module so hoping it works. If not tied to a specific VIN, I fear it might be for a specific version of COMAND and my 12 CLS550 is likely different.
Of course I could just try it but since he lives across the country I’m hoping to find out before we bother to ship it.
