Ordering AMG Pieces

My local dealer is clueless, has anyone tried to order AMG side skirts or rear bumper apron from the dealer? Any part numbers and or pricing would be helpful.

Thanks!

Kevin,

It seems to me your car is not in production yet. Why not just oder the AMG package and take out the front bumper and sell it to someone else if you want that?

Because its not worth $5k, when I just want side skirts and rear bumper valance. Those parts separately should be less then $2k

Kevin-
Don't see your location, and that's fine with me....
Call or drive and go into a larger dealership, one where you know or can guess that they sell some/more/a bunch of AMG MBZ's -- I guarentee you that their parts guys or parts manager can identify, number, order, and deliver to you just the specific styling kit parts that you want. All of those parts should be available. I guarentee you that each has a part number already. I guarentee you that some MBZ parts dept. would love to sell those parts to somebody... Etc. You're just going to have to expand your search radius.

$5K is not just the kit. It came with the 18" wheels/tires, AMG exhaust and speed shifter buttons on the steering wheel. If you plan to upgrade your wheel and tweak out the car but just want the rear bumper and side skirt, then I agree with you that you might want to just get some take off pieces from someone else. In this case, it might be less expensive that way.

I found these as well, but I believe there either not out yet or just available in Europe, both dealers found nothing using these part numbers. I have the correct ones at my office, I will post them if anyone needs them

And thats exactly what my plans are, I'm a modaholic, car is still 6 months from arriving, and I have the 20" Brabus Wheels, aluminum pedals, and Renntech Steering wheel on there way!! Just working on body kit, and exhuast, lowering moudle, and Euro Command DVD. Im going to wait on Euro Command, I'm wondering what mine will have at first since were doing Euro delivery, I believe its changed when were back in the States though.

Thanks for the link, I had already spoke to Adam about that kit, I'm in need of just side skirts, and rear valance though as I want to do the new Brabus front bumper, hes checking with his boss to see if he will part the kit out.
