So what is MB's plan for the CLS when the new E-class comes out...
next summer? Do they plan to continue the current CLS for another few years, or will they replace the CLS within the year with a new one based on the new E-class chassis? Any thoughts?

If they follow the typical lifecycle, the CLS would soldier on a couple more years after the new E launches. However, it would make sense for this to happen sooner than later given the E is all new.
