CLS Secondary Air pump

Hi everyone. Need your help please. I got check engine light on my 06 CLS500. I scanned my car and got secondary air injection error. When I opened my old air pump it's armature was completely broken so I changed it and then I got check engine light again! This time I connect the air pump to the battery to make sure it's fine. it worked so everything is fine with the airpump. Then I changed the relay but still air pump doesn't work. I start the car in 47 F but still nothing ! I'm about to change the valve but even if my valve has problem still that air pump should be turned on!! Anyone can help me please?

Did you ever resolve your issue? Also, do you happen to have the BOSCH part # for your MY06 secondary air pump? it's time for me to replace mine and I've seen postings of both 0580000010 and 0580000011 associated with the OEM part A0001403785, I'm just not sure what the difference is. Some say 0580000010 is compatible some don't. Any info would be much appreciated.

Yes sir I resolved the problem right away in 2013. Just some advices. It's super easy to change so never take it to the delearship. Don't pay around $350 for the new one. I got a used smog pump it was basically for a 2002 S500 but it is compatible with your car. You can get it for $50 from eBay. Since it doesn't do anything to your engine so it doesn't matter if you use the used one. It may cause a damage to the wires so if you still see the error after changing it you need to change the wire too. I also made a discussion about it that time I'm gonna leave you the link here and also the link for the part. I think the part number you have is compatible with R129 W163 W164 W170 W202 W203 W208 W209 W210 W211 AMG 4Matic not W219. If you haven't got it yet go with A0001403785 since this is the one company uses.

Click here to see the discussion I posted about changing it: https://mbworld.org/forums/w219/5189...placement.html

I ended up getting a new OEM pump but was fortunate to find one for $200, dealer wanted $700 and most new OEM on ebay was $350+, even Amazon had one for $317, which is cheaper than most. I was concerned with the used one going on me, so I popped for a new one. I also changed the check valve and relay just to make sure (I checked those first prior to swapping the pump itself, for some changing those one and/or both of those did the trick).

As to my question regarding part #s, yes A0001403785 is the MB part # but it also has TWO cross reference #'s from BOSCH (which is the OEM manufacturer), one is 0580000010 the other is 0580000011; both are compatible. BOSCH labels with 0580000010 do not list the MB part #, where as 0580000011 does list 0001403785 on the same label. Just wanted to share in case anyone else had the same questions.

Hi, do you know the connector part number?
To avoid duplication, I posted my details right here, thanks.
