Question about Koko Lindros wheels...
Greetings all. I am poised to pull the trigger on a set of Koko Lindos wheels http://www.ebay.com/itm/400478681466?_trksid=m570.p2054897.l4763&_trkparms=ga1m%3DT9%26ga2m%3DT10%26ga3m%3DT0%26ga4m%3DT0 for my 2006 CLS500. The wheels are 20x8.5(f) and 20x10(r) with offsets of +35 and +40, respectively. My question is about tire fitment on the rear. I have been told by the wheel goon that I can't go with a 285/30r20 on the rear and have to settle for a 275/30r20. I'm not too excited about this because I don't want the tire to look stretched. Is there anyone out there that give me some insight as to whether I'm going to get rub? I have no intention of lowering the car (it's not a six-4 Impala), so it will continue to run at stock height. Please, no 25 recommendations. I live in Houston and the roads around here suck. No chance I'm going to something that thin-walled.
I've been up an down the threads looking for something that I can hang my hat on, but haven't found something that definitively says the 285 will work without rubbing. Thanks in advance for your advice!!

You will need spacers to make it fit to your CLS, If you want wheels to be flash with the fenders you will need 15mm spacers front and rear.

A 285 will fit just fine on a 10" rim. The problem is the offsets of those wheels are too high for the Cls and the wheels will look sunken in. You should throw on 15 or 20mm spacers all around. Don't forget to get extended lugs.

Thanks, fellas. Since the offset is different from front to rear, should I go for 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear or is 15 good on all fours? Also, what specs should I be shopping for? I know it's a 5x112 bolt pattern but isn't there also a hub measurement that I should be concerned about? Thanks for putting up with my newbie questions. I just don't want to hack up a very nice car. Have a good one!!

the best place to buy quality lug bolts its http://www.otisincla.com/ they also sell spacers, when you buy spacers from them bolts are included. However i dont have any personal experience with their spacers although i bought 2 sets of Lug bolts from them.
Before ordering bolts You need to find out if you need cone or ball seat.

My suggestion is 245/35/20 which is also 26.8 and barely will not rub that top suspension bolt. On a 8.5 rim they will fit nicely.
Don't try the 255 in the 35 profile because you might clear the bolt or just touch it but you will have to modify the inner plastic lining depending on the offset.

I've pushed back from the Koko wheels after learning how they're manufactured (heard that they tend to wobble after a little while) and then that they are discontinuing this line. Headed to Rohana RC10's.
