2006 CLS 500
CLS 500 Oil Leak
Hi, new to the forum and I have a problem tracking down an oil leak on my 2006 CLS 500 with 96,000 miles.
The leak is coming from the front driver's side area. I have checked the O ring on the power steering reservoir and that is dry. Next I replaced the oil cooler seals and checked the oil filter O ring. So I am certain that it is not coming from those parts.
Little more info. It does not leak much if the engine is off maybe one drop over night. However if you let the engine idle for 20 minutes the leak intensify maybe 7 or 8 drops. I can trace fresh oil back to above the belt tension pulley but after that I am SOL.
Any ideas guys?
