They have to be longer in front if you want to lower, and needs to be shorter at rear (to lower)

If it is 5mm, or 10mm, or 15mm, it depends of how much you want to lower

VERY Sano CLS Marcy

The 219/218s without the rear spoiler look super sleek to me. Makes me consider taking mine off. Wonder what holds it on?

When you mention failure what sort of failure? Is this a common occurrence or just a one off? Anyone else encountered problems after installing the links?
I have ordered a set but am in two minds now if i should install them or not.
Regards

I've had these same lowering links on my CLS63 for about 10k miles. No problems to date.

You need to keep in mind though that altering the ride height of a car, even a couple cm, will cause the shocks/struts to operate in a zone that they aren't used to. There can be corrosion build-up on the normally smooth surfaces of these areas, and it will cause seals to fail prematurely.

Links Came today

My Links came today and i managed to install them. The fronts were so easy to do.
The rear well what can i say it was a pain in the backside. Not much room to work with under there.
I had to undo the sensor two 10mm nuts to give me some more room.
Eventually got the old link off and the replacement shorter link on. Did it whilst the car was on the ground and raised it and filled the bags with air too to give me wiggle room underneath.
pic attached on the lowest sport 2 setting.
Handles nice and still smooth in comfort. Bit firmer in sport 1 and 2. Feels flatter around bends an corners. Big improvement in the way it drives.
Still need to put my 20's on. Currently riding on the standard 18's.
Regards

Riding low. Sport2

Your experience installing the lowering links sounds exactly like mine! Still, In the end I think it was worth it.
Your car’s new stance looks fantastic

My mrs said im nuts but she had a smile on her face when she saw it lol.
I purchased this vehicle just under 2 weeks ago. Already travelled 2100kms since the purchase.
Love the vehicle but not the fuel bill lol. Was driving a 2012 Camry Hybrid prior to this. But no regrets its a great drive..
