Greetings from Stuttgart. I picked up an E55 today via European delivery and had a visit to AMG. While I was there, I saw the CLS55 in person. The car appears very low in person and sexy. I think the overall look is very appealing to women. It had some beautiful new 19 inch wheels that might not come to the USA. Overall, I would say it is a winner.

Please tell me you took some pics??? What colour was it??? How was the interior? Does it really look like a coupe???

I could not take a camera into AMG. The car was silver with black interior. I do not think silver is the car's best color and would look better in darker colors. It had a less glossy matte wood finish which I thought looked like the new BMW'S, which is to say, I did not like it very much. The one interesting thing that I noticed for the first time is that all four windows are frameless and the glass is double thickness like the old S class. It might be quieter than the E class.

The wheels are similar to those on the 2004 SL500, just a cleaner five pointed wheel.
