2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupe ;)

The just concluded MB promo at the Gulfstream race track in Aventura, N. Miami had one CLS on display.
The interior looked fantastik. The exterior lines echo the Jaguar appearance.
This exterior 4-door coupe, -oximoron, - with its pain side panels raises concerns; it invites of parking lot dents.

I agree that the lack of side protection makes me consider not getting one of these. The car is beautiful and all it takes is one mistake by someone else and the beauty goes away. MB can get away with it on an SLK since it is a narrower car and the Porsche 911 can too because it too is narrow and has fenders that flare out enough.
If anyone can do door trim and make it look good and not fall off - it's MB.
