Help! I have a 2008 CLS 550 - LOVE IT! recently found a "lever" of sorts inside the stowage box under the front armrest. It is not listed in the users manual and I purchased an on-line repair manual - which also had no information at all (total waste of money!).
This all started because my husband broke the two tabs off our cup holder assembly - he didnt realize there were two screws he needed to remove. I wanted to remove the hardware and the broken tabs. I got the armrest removed, but I can not access the two screws unless somehow I can remove the plastic frame (I think its a frame - I have no info really) around the storage container.

This shows the two tabs - not broken off!
