I've been drove C300, E 300 and CLS 450. Each car dorve for 2 years.
One of most common issue is rattle noise from door side. (Since the new design, it has same rattle noise, dealer tech was not able to catch the noise at all)
It's annoying. Over 80k car still have cheap plastic noise when bump and a customer has to deal with it.
Besides that I like it so far. But the rattle noise annoying as hell.

Have this same problem too, especially when driving on the highway over some road imperfections. It's especially annoying because the roads in my area are quite rough.

I have a similar noise but I think I found it. It's the perfume bottle in the glove box.

I dont have the perfume bottle. if you can let us know - is it from the door?

I don't have it either. It is definitely from the passenger door panel.

My rattle is worse than expected. broken front suspension bearing!!!!

The dealer catch the rattle noise. It was the seat controller.

I had the same problem in mine realised it was to do with the tyre pressure . Where I had it 38 psi at the front and back but when changed to 42 at front and 49 psi at back the drive is amazing now hopefully this will help u resolve your problem

I owned W219 and now the C257. I'm very sensitive to in-car noises and always drill down to the bottom finding out the source. The culprit, spectacle storage on the roof console! I had that on both of my cars. Since the storage compartment is in the dead center of the front, the noise seem to be bouncing off equally in all directions; during the process to locate the source, my wife and I were pointing fingers on each others', it was funny.
