Photo: CLS53 & Long's Peak
Here's my CLS53 with Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain Park, Colorado in the background. We had 4" of snow in the Denver area Monday 5/20/19 the day after this photo was taken. Springtime in the Rockies...

Fantastic photos!
I’m looking to purchase a similar CLS 53 with the same wheels. What tires do you use for the snow? Or are the stock tires with those 20” wheels considered all weather?

Well no, my wheels are "stock 20s" and the tires are Pirelli P Zero Run Flats and they are definitely not all-season tires. I am fortunate to have a GLA250 and a GLK350 both with studded Hakkapeliitta snow tires to run in the winter. I hope that the CLS53 rarely sees snow.
But I have looked for all season 20" tires but did not find any run flats in our CLS size. I did find NON run flats that would be quite satisfactory -- Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06. I ran the DWSs on a previously-owned CLS63S and they were fine.
However, if you are really concerned about travel in the snow, I'd go to Discount Tire (or perhaps Tire Rack) and get a set of 19" wheels and tires for that purpose. Discount Tire carries Hakkapeliitta brand and they are the absolute best. I got some 19" wheels and studded Hakkas for my GLA from them. After spending a lot of $$$ on a CLS, another couple of thousand for the best winter tire setup is worth it. The ultimate limit of traction in the snow is determined by the tires. With separate wheels for the tires you save mounting and dismounting the tires on rims plus Discount Tire will swap wheel/tire combos each season at not cost if you purchase from them.
I have 235/45R19 Hakkas for my GLA250 and sometime in my spare time, I plan to see if the wheels I purchased from Discount Tire (PETROL P5A) fit on the CLS. The tire size is about right, but I might need a wheel spacer to clear the front calipers.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Gordon, our cars from the exterior are identical. However, the difference is the interior. Yours is the edition 1 if I remember correctly with a superior trim. Mine is the more mondane nappa leather interior.

My GLA250 is a CPO ED 1 but my CLS53 is not an ED1. It's Polar White with the Bengal Red leather and carbon fiber inside and out. I did have your Diamond White on a previous CLS and really liked it. Beautiful!
