Facelift 2018 AMG GT C Roadster VS AMG GT S 2017

So this is the new facelift of the GT

What do you think about the new look?

I much prefer the pre-facelift.

The new grill looks "pinched" between the frill and the lower fascia. I also don't like the side skirts on the widebody.

I'm shopping for a pre-facelift. It's a cleaner/classier look.

I remember one of the motortrend guys saying how much better the first AM Vantages and even the F-type were, and then companies update and slap stuff on the original design to make it look newer/more aggressive. It doesn't work as well.

The new facelift is gorgeous, I prefer it to the older version.

I agree - the facelift sits better on the GTR, as its fully open mouth allows for a cleaner look to the splitter......

Roadster would have looked super classy with the original look

I love the mean look of the new grille but it's not worth the bath I would take to sell mine and get a new one. I'll just put myself on the list for the black series ;)

The first 2 years of the GT paid tribute to the SLS with a similar grille, now it's time for a change. The pre-facelift is classy much like the SLS, while the facelift is more aggressive and it matches the car and where this model is going with it's new variations C and R.

I would buy the new one in a heartbeat. It looks great.

I must admit, when I first saw it, all I could think was a Nick Park character.

In the whole scheme of things, the 'Design 1' era and production volume of the car will be so short that it is sure to age well, provided MB moves upward in brand/pricing protection.

I'd hardly complain if a new GTR with the 'V2' stance entered my garage but there's a good argument to be made that subsequent versions of 'classic' cars - particularly if it's a 'buy and hold' strategy, don't age as well even if technically more advanced.

I'm kind of liking my original, understated (if that is possible) 'design concept' GTS at the moment.

Now, THAT's funny. True.
