For those who have a GTR. I noticed when I wipe the car down the side plate covers on the end of the spoiler seem very cheap. They don't seem solid and wiggle and creak. Yesterday I bumped it by accident and the plastic cover flew off. It's lightly snapped in is all. Could have been a better design. I'm going to order an extra pair. I can see the day coming when I notice one is missing. Who knows, on a very hot day, the plastic could expand and fly off when you're driving the car. If/when that happens, I will put the replacement on and silicone it on and that should take care of it. Just wanted to pass this observation on. Go and check yours and wiggle it and you'll see what I mean. Very cheap and fragile.
The red arrow shows the side plate (plastic) which is screwed on to the spoiler. To cover it and hide the screws, there is a cheap plastic cover that snaps over it. You can lightly grab the side plate and gently wiggle and see how flimsy it is. Not solid by any means like I think it should be. I was in the garage and accidentally bumped it and I'm lucky I didn't snap it off and break it. Fortunately, as I grazed it the side cap plastic most likely flexed and this caused the cover to pop off. If you look at yours you can see the seam of the cover and exactly what I mean. I don't want to take a pic with the cover off because taking it on and off probably weakens it.

I had my GTR wrapped in PPF all of the carbon pieces were wrapped in gloss ppf. I went out to wiggle my end caps and they feel secure and solid. So it might be a QC replacement that your dealer needs to figure out? I had a headlight replaced on the GTR under QC warranty. The dealer found there was excess condensation in the headlight that was not supposed to be there and did not evaporate.

I suspect the carbon fiber is better quality from the get go. Instead of having a cheap wafer thin cover on the side plate. You might check yours and it may be a one piece unit. I can't imagine it having a cheap carbon fiber cap cover.
