I elected to go with a carbon fiber-free interior when I specced my 458 Spider but I still got the LED/carbon fiber steering wheel and paid a small premium to have it wrapped in leather. Even during street driving, the engine revs so quickly on upshift that the LED lights become useful as a driving aid and not just as a gimmick.
For my GTS, I went back to the carbon fiber interior.
Anything over 10000 miles causes a sharp devaluation in Ferrari resale values. Stupid and archaic but a fact nonetheless. Contributed to me trading my 458 in after 2 years of ownership as I was racking the mileage up as a daily driver.

458 approaches rev limit fast you’re watching the red lights on the steering wheel light up then bam flick the upshift paddle, engine wailing the whole time.

I am on Ferrari # 7, and after a few drives the LED steering wheel seems more like a gimmick (and something else Ferrari can charge you for) to me. I can hear when it is time to shift, though the lights look nice at night. Options have always been ridiculous on Ferrari's like $4500 for Apple car play. that day/night mirror with homelink is around $3600 if my memory serve me well. My friend's FF has a 17K paint option. The seats (with all the option combined) in my Calf t were close to 11K. I like the GS color (my 430 gearshift car was that color) I have been either fist or second owner on all of my cars, and it is not unusual to find three year old cars with 5 or 6 owners. I tend to stay away from those cars since they remind me of rental cars and rental cars are not treated very well. I am at the been there done that stage in my life with cars (though I still am looking for the right F12) and have turned my attention to boats which I know very little about. I am fortunate there are dealers for AM, McLaren, Porsche, Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley, and Ferrari within a 20 minute (mostly less) from my house. I don't think I'd own a modern high end car without dealer support nearby. I'd advise anyone looking to purchase a Ferrari to join Ferrarichat (I am carnut there), I have been on there almost 15 years. You will find almost everyone is willing to help someone new get the right car and answer any questions you might have. Buying the wrong car can be a very costly mistake.

Not sure on their price but if you must have the LED it can be added.
I would do it....

I just did this search and out of 88 posted cars only 8 F12's have more miles than the one I quoted on. My point is F cars are not driven and are often great 2nd or 3rd user cars. I have some experience here owning two and having wholesaled more than 20 in the past but others with more ownership can chime in too. This is just, again, my opinion based what I see in the market and my retailing and wholesaling experiences.
