Did he say why its considered rare cant u order a black GTR??

Canadian pricing. My car with every option stickered around $227,000.
That black one appears not to have any CF or CC brakes. (-25,000)
So it is a lot over MSRP. Rip. ****ing. Off.

lol. N/M. I see this is in California. That makes this price even worse. $245K in US dollars!!!

Oh man.. did I mention I have a special 2019 Blue Edition GTR? Even marking it up to under MSRP.... btw the "BLUE Edition" means I'll be blue if we dont sell it as my boss told me to do grey lol..

I hate markups as an enthusiast.. I don't get involved even here with the G square 4x4, or the black editions or launch edition G63 shennenigans..

And with all due respect to GTR owners, 60k ADM is just not happening in the market right now with GTR's- maybe on certain Porsche GT models.

Turbo S's still have a better curve than Benz GT cars. I have had 5 and was able to sell almost all of them without taking a fat bath that is usually associated with AMG. But I do get nice up front pricing from PCNA. Right now Turbo S 991.2's are not doing that bad in year 1-2 where we see the steepest curves on depreciation.

Actually the air here is Free Range AND Artisanal. As well there is an occasional sprinkling of unicorn tears. Just ask Vic.

That seems to be the exception. 2016 turbo s with low miles are selling for under $150K several with original msrp well north of $200k. In my experience owning multiple 911s, the turbo s trims have the worst depreciation of the various iterations often due to the bloated msrp. Especially compared to the GT3 trims. Peruse Rennlist and you will see this theme.

Most gen 1 turbo S's had a median of 195-200k, but a 16 Turbo S is 3 years old now based on release dates.

The average sale at the auction is around 155 with 9k miles-- so about 40-45k in 3 years which is not really bad based on the price point. I know these are just averages and I know there were some builds that got really up there but there were also alot of standard builds in the 190's (Im talking Gen 1's). I personally sold my 2007 Turbo 3 years later for a gain. I sold my 2011 Turbo for a gain 2 years later. I lost money on my 14 and 16's but it was not AMG mind blowing based on the initial price points. TD has a .2 and they are really limited those builds now....

My friend owns a high end dealership here in Newport and he is killing it on the slightly used gen 2's since inventory is so light. Of course as production boosts, then the values will come down. And I 100% agree about the GT3 cars- those things annoy me price wise LOL.

I live 3 miles from F.J. Newport and drove 60 miles South to purchase my GTS. Wouldn't go near any F.J. stores.......this confirms even more...

A mere $60,000 markup. Fletcher Jones must have a line around the block.

I remember when Fletcher Jones sold cheap American cars in downtown L.A. Not too far from USC where Jones had gone to law school. The dealership didn't have a very good reputation then. I see they are striving to go back in time.

11 AMG's and other Benzes and I have never bought one from the #1 store in the US (Newport yeah its #1) but lets just be clear, this GTR is being sold at the Ontario store which is not Newport or the biggest. But I still wouldnt buy from Newport :)

Do you really bring your car to a car dealer to get it washed and detailed?

No House is bigger: the largest in the Region is FJ Newport, then Keyes, then House.

The reason FJ is #1 is not because they sold that GTR but because they whore out commodity Benzes.

Did Triple G buy that GTR LOL....

I did recommend House and several members here have bought cars from them. I have personally taken 6 AMG's from them and 3 non AMG's. I never mentioned wholesaling, I said whoring which is triple net blow out of their commodity units. Wholesaling wont allow them to RS the unit or claim a sale with MBUSA.

Generally FJ is one with Keyes right behind. Then the challenge for #3 used to be between House and MBZ Laguna... but currently in the Western Region it goes FJ, Keyes, House. And the House sells a ton of used cars which doesnt even count in RDR's (new car numbers). Laguna is dying a slow death now LOL. Rusnak is not close and Ontario runs close with House prob #4 right now.

2019's arent out yet, December... I have a 19 Blue GTR coming... no markups, maybe a small discount even ;)
