Valeting AMG?
Hi everyone,
Finding parking in Boston is pretty annoying and was wondering if anyone else feels concerned about valeting their Amg. I used to always valet my cars back home in Dubai but not sure about if its safe to do so in America. Has anyone had any bad experiences giving their cars to the valet? Also does the car come with valet mode? Thanks

Where it's possible I always pay extra to the valet manager to park the car right in the front and don't take it away.

You can also use the valet mode on the mercedesme app to set alerts for speed and if the car travels outside of a set radius. But paying a few bucks extra to leave it in front is much better.

Man, that's painful to look at. Hope they didn't give you too much trouble in getting it sorted. I've heard a lot of horror stories of valet companies ghosting people after wrecking their cars.

Damn that valet destruction hurts....it’s not so much the damage that can’t be fixed, it’s the trust with your belonging that is expensive and well maintained. You’re trusting them for a few hours and they can’t handle a simple drive the car a few yards and park it. Then if they damage it, it’s the war with them to accept fault and the audacity they have to say they have no idea and it’s not their fault....

Sorry to hear that, but not at all surprised, as I think that is the typical response from valet companies, unless you have dashcam footage to prove otherwise.

It’s all about being risk avoidant. If I can avoid the headache of dealing with the possible aftermath, I’ll do anything to avoid it. Potholes, driving when raining/snowing, valet, parking close to the front of a store, etc etc etc.

Thankfully I've only had this issue at Capital Grill, but I knew ahead of time via google, and took the suv. Almost just ubered there, but I always end up feeling nauseous after the terrible uber drivers I end up with. XD
