Misfire code - linked to leaking injectors
I have had multiple misfire codes come over the past couple of months ... I finally got tired of them and took the car in to see what's going on. There is a bulletin out on this issue that requires ecu updates an test drives and so on ... which does not solve the issue.
The issue is that I do not drive the car very often ... once every couple week. During the time the car is sitting, I have an injector or five that leak slightly allowing gas to build up in the cylinder. This causes the misfire ... so my car is now getting fitted with new injectors at 17k miles.
