What's my key fob worth?
Just realized that I still have one of the fobs from my 2016 GTS that I no longer own.
|
Well, it may be worth a joyride if you know where your car is located… :zoom::y
|
How much do you want for it? I do need the Vin # of the car, just say'n

They go for as low as $20 on Ebay and there are 70 Ebay ads just for AMG fobs. All of mercedes fobs, something like 650 ads.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/26522290043...4AAOSw7jlg5oeR But I bet it would be priceless to the new owner of your car. If it were me, I think I'd make an attempt to get it to them, just out of kindness, I suppose. |
It's worth absolutely nothing to anyone except the owner of the car.

These FOBS of all manufacturers end up on Ebay all the time BC the auction houses are notorious for "lifting" the second key if both are there. On the auction I posted above, the guy has 4 more to sell at $20, or offer, and has already sold 13! He either has owned a whole lot of AMGs and is very forgetful, or..... |
Coming from a person who has 5 Mercedes with single keys it is valuable to the guy who bought it. See if you can track him down and send it to him. That would be the nicest thing to do.

I have a spare for all my vehicles to me it a sign of that people really don't care about their car.
When you sell or trade it is one the nicest thing you can do pass it on, it's of no use to you. |
Would be super cool of you to find the person who bought it and send it to them. Kind of the only acceptable thing to do unless it has been trashed and no longer useable as a car.
