What is the safest way to remove acrylic oxidation from your headlights?
The classic and most suggested method is the sandpaper and polish method.
Most people, (including myself) with any degree of knowledge about what sandpaper is capable of are reluctant to grind sandpaper against their expensive headlight lens.
In fact that method can severely damage a headlight and the paint around it.
There is another method that cleans without damage.
An acrylic lens deoxidizer.
If you have a newer car with hazy or coudy lens, or an older car with normal wear on the lens, use the acrylic lens deoxidizer to clear them up safely without any risk to the smoothness or clarity of the lens surface.
For the skeptic and those on the fence about which method to use,
Here is a link that leads to a few detail forums with pictures and member discussion about the performance of Pittman ALR. http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread...eadlight clean

Funny how the thread Jerry Pittman linked to is another spam attempt. And, how ironic is it that the person pushing Pittman products (quatr4) in that thread was banned???

Jerry Pittman has been spamming the internet for years:

BEWARE: If you Google Pittman Vapor Wax, the only thing that comes up is spam and the outing of this spammer.

Mods: ban this fool once and for all.

Stupidity in Motion
David Bynon,
Have you taken your medication since TOGWT woke you out of your drunken stupor?
As usual you don't know where your are or what you are talking about, you still think you're at your virus site autopia.

Did you not read what this post is about?
Are you that blindly obsessed that you have lost all reading comprehension ability?
Face it David, you lost on all points and now you're just making a spectical out of yourself.
First off, it it obvious that there is cronic mental damage, stemming from a tramatic collision in 2009 with the truth.
What do you know about Pittman ALR?
NOTHING
So why are you here?
No one is interested in any non related ancient history, what's happening today?
Where's your website? what happened to your "re-labled swirl inducing bynon wax"?

You're upset and bent out of shape because Pittman VaporWax became an international success while that re-labled "swirl inducing bynon wax"
faded away into nothing.

All you got is sour grapes and a warehouse full of "swirl inducing bynon wax" that you could not give away.
You come here to this forum and leave links to a known virus site Autopia.org? for what? to benefit who?
David Bynon you are a pathetic piece of half done work.
"Stupidity in Motion"
A self appointed nobody,
You should get a life, one with some purpose.
You have always been a small time player, You have never been in the same league with Pittman Original. You have never had the name recognition or the following. You were alway jealous of their success. That's why you're here.
Crying like a jealous baby.

If you were a success you would not care about Pittman Original. You would be too busy running to the bank.
The fact is that you are a Burnt out, Boozed out loser, mentally challenged, failing in business, product development and social skills.

The only power you ever had was in your virus infested website Autopia.org.
Now that you don't even have that anymore and you cannot ban people who are smarter than you, you appear to be having a nervous breakdown.

What a sad set of circumstances you turned into.
You're not very bright are you?
In all these years you still just don't get it. You did this to yourself by being so predictably ignorant.
You tried to bump heads with a company that was already established for it's deoxidizer world wide.
There were already thousands of people who used Pittman products, Nothing you could say could change their positive experience with the brand.
We wanted to try anything new that came out of that company.
Your warning post only served as unpaid advertisement.

The people who used the product knew it was everything it claimed to be.
None of them had heard of you or your "re-labled swirl inducing bynon wax". No one took you seriously. You were just some "strange new kind of fool" to us.
We all could see you had a mental problem.

You were a inside joke, we refer to you as "the mule"
You and your website were used to create some controversy about VaporWax, controversy equals promotion.
They turned you on like a light bulb.
You know they say "the truth hurts and lies tickle".
You're the only one who is upset.

What do you call a person's forehead when you put a long lasting shine on it? ......VaporWaxed
Has it sunk in yet David Bynon?

I am amazed at how easy it was for them to play you David. I did not think anyone was that simple minded.
They played you like a video game.

Now go and get your half empty bottle of THUNDERBIRD and find you a nice dumpster to curl up next to and drunken stupor it off.
Try to forget about "the swirl inducing bynon wax". Everyone else has.
