little holes in windshield

does anyone know if glass polishing the windows would help seal those little tiny holes in the windshield? if not, what will other than replacing the entire window?

Glass polish will get rid of very minor scratches and pitting. Most of the time short of windshield replacement you will have to live with the pits.

do you think that windshield replacement can be done under warranty?

What would be the use...pitting is inevitable - you would be replacing it once a year if you wanted to keep the windscreen perfect. I haven't tried it yet but the glass polish would be the way to go.

You might talk to your insurance company. I've had windshields replaced before under my comprehensive coverage. If I remember correctly, the deductible was waived. Of course, given the current state of the insurance industry, things may be different now.

i'm at 10k, i'm thinking by 30k i would probably not be able to see anything and need to replace it. i never really noticed it on my parents' mbs. they are in the 70k and it looks bad. but it doesn't bother them.
