What's the best way to get rid of this?
 
I recently purchased a CLS55 with 28K miles and the finish on everything else is fine except for these sections just ahead of the rear wheels.
I have a Flex XC3401 DAB and Menzerna Super Finish PO106FAP... Do you think that will work?

Claybar - most likely road debris contaminants since it is right by the wheel well.

Thanks very much for your response...

Unfortunately, it looks like the previous owner placed Xpel on top of the scuffed area, so it looks like I have to remove that

Are you sure the protective film is placed on top?
Spray and claybar first, stay clear of the edges, and see if your clay picks up anything . It is hard to imagine that someone would place the film over such contaminated paint without first curing it.
