BEST WHEEL SHINE?
Just bought a 2004 E500 4Matic. I've been using Armor all "Extreme tire shine" and it wears off after a day. It does not work well at all. What do you guys use when applying tire shine?

I prefer the tires to be less shiny than most. I also refuse to use a non water based product because other products cause havoc on the paint when it sprays off your tires as you drive, leading to my preference for a water based, gel product that is non greasy. I recently was introduced to Garry Dean's Infinite Performance Tire & Trim Gel. For me, it lasts longer than all the products I have previously tried. It's also "tunable" so that you can layer it to the gloss level you prefer - from super shiny to mild. It completely dries to the touch and does not sling at all. If you try some, I recommend taking the time to clean your tires before application each time because I have found that it bonds much better and therefore lasts longer.

ammo mud is what I use its water based. I hear opti bond tire gel is good stuff as you can get a gallon for 35.00 bucks which is a steal. To apply I use this http://www.americanbuffing.com/buffi...&ID=56&pID=300

I'm using the Opti-Bond tire gel by Optimum and it works nice for a semi gloss look and am currently trying the Armor All Extreme Shine tire gel. It has lasted me 3 weeks so far and hasn't really lost its shine. It's all in how well you clean and dry the tire prior to application.
