For the pads, what do you guys suggest? I'm looking for a kit. Have any of you guys tried the Sonus DAS Pad kit from autopia? What do you think?

Most of the packages put together by Autopia are VG. I haven’t tried Sonus pads as my Lake County Mfg pads are doing fine and seem almost indestructible (I think LC and Sonus specifications s are very similar)

Make sure you get 1 of those velcro backing plate; 2 polishing pads and 2 finishing pads.

Lake Country as I know is cheaper than Meguiar.

I use LC pads myself, the $50 kit from CMA for is good value, has everything you need to get started.

However, I have heard very good things about Meguiars and Edge pads.

Don't know much about the Sonus pads.

I think there also is a Meguiars kit on www.premiumautocare.com which sells for $45 or so? but it has less things than the CMA kit.
