Cleaning aluminum trim
I did search and the only real answer I saw was to use vinegar. That dud not help on this trim. Anyone have any suggestions? 2019 GLC 300

is it coated with clear or something?
If plain aluminum try NEVER DULL
you can test for raw aluminum by using never dull in hidden spot and it will turn black when you rub as it removes the surface dirt and polishes it.
If coated - New piece?

It is anodized aluminum. Google it. There is no practical way to remove the tarnish/stains without removing the anodization. If you remove it you will have bare aluminum which will tarnish even faster. You might be able to talk the dealer into replacing it if you have any warranty left.
