Where is the oil coming from (OM642)
Here is a fun one for y'all Where is this oil coming form? It looks like by the power steering pump, but its wet above it.

Looks like oil, or fuel splashed by belt and air circulation for long time.
If you don't see clear wash from the leak, it could be as simple as spill from the filling neck.
Wash it and observe short time after.
I had a leak on oil filter housing who did even bigger mess and removing coolant tank and then the air pipe made for easy access to see the area.
The tank is sitting on rubber grommets and then secured by single screw. Once you remove the screw, you can pull the tank from gromets and move it to the side without disconnecting hoses.

The dealers use a spray of some sort to highlight the area that might be leaking. Try going to an auto parts store and buying something similar, clean the area in question, drive it for a short while and see that turns up. The spray the dealer uses turns into a white powdery type substance and makes it easy to see the source of the leak in the presence of oil.
