Hey, man, you have oil all over you engine.
I am not sticking my head out there
Who did the last oil change? Common beginners DIY mistake is putting oil filter cap oring on the end of it, not on the grove that is made for it.
That can hold the pressure for some time before you have big blow. Just a guess. Add some oil and idle the engine for 5 seconds intervals to see if you see oil gurgle.

You was 100% right. I Did the oil change 2 weeks ago been running around 500 miles, was 100% on me the oring was on the wrong location exactly as you say, you even can see the oring snap on one of the picture, after I read your message (own you a big one bud) went straigh to the oil cap and oil flow with lots of pressure. Luckily was a $175 (new oil cap filter a 0w/40 oil) mistake and not a seize motor. Add around 8 quarts of oil turn on the car all sound smoothand normal.
Now I never get any alarm on the panel about low oil or low pressure really weird. I just smell the burn oil and stop right away.
Here is the picture after some hour on my local car wash and like 5 bottle of engine degreaser. Had to power wash the entire motor and surrounding areas

Yeah, nothing better to avoid future mechanical mishaps than to make one and nothing better to learn geography, than drive in the country

Well looks like all we t good with the car. Yesterday drove from Dallas to Austin close 500 miles round trip without any problem to report. Im really happy.
well only a bit smoked most at low speed ( some oil need to burn out ) and my white pear suv end looking like smoke gray color.
im still thinking about the OIL PRESSURE OR TEMPERATURE ALARM. Never got one on the car when that happen. With all sensor on Mercedes car why they will avoild istall one of those on the cluster .
Also want to ask about a rattling noise in cold starts, for few seconds that happen before this incident so im sure dont have notting to do witht he oils splashing. Will make a video and post later.

Oil level warning will come on, when the level drop below min. That on my cars can be oversensitive as it comes at 1/2 between min and max, but then I know the chip has time delay to not make warning on sharp turns.
The red oil pressure alarm comes when pump sucks air, what probably means you have less than 3l of oil in the engine.
Don't think you ever come to those circumstances
Rattling could be worn chain tensioner. What's the mileage?.

Sounds is something hard to troubleshoot over the net even with videos. Small rattle for couple of seconds at start is to some degree normal, but when it last for long time, new tensioner might be in order.
Research the subject. Tensioners on OM642 last long time, so unless you have bad luck, it should be OK.
Having experienced person listening sure could answer the dilemma. Than if replacement comes, find WIS. Some of them have pretty complicated prefilling procedure and you don't want to put it in wrong grove

It may also be the lack of a check valve in the hydraulic tensioner circuit. MB issued a TB on that for the OM642, just not sure which years are affected. The tensioner loses pressure when the engine's off for a while, then pumps back up within seconds after start-up.

OK, thanks will order a new tensioner and try found few under 100$ so worth the try brand Faby vs the 160 for the Mercedes.
I'm planning a 4k miles round trip this spring break (Dallas -Arizo_Vegas) and just read on the car manual I can lose around .8L of oil for each 1k miles, Should I carry some quart of oil and check the dip stick every 1k miles, Right now I'm using Mobil 1 European formula 0W40 ( was the emergency oil after the cap mistake) before I was using 5w40 liqui moly and add 1 1/2 can of ceratec additive (I want to think that save my motor after blow all the oil) Should I keep the Mobil 1 for the trip or do an extra oil change for something better?
Also, anyone can recommend something to remove the smell of oil/diesel on the car. I'm still smoking a little and from the bottom can see some oil spot all around
