did you lower it? if not, it looks pretty good as it is.

19" wheels/lowering

Yes your wheels look nice. I like the way your car sits. i would also like to know if you lowered your car because I wanted some 19"s or 20"s but I heard if you lower your car it voids the warranty. ect.. like taking your car into the shop for suspension issues or similar

Sorry about the late reply. I have not lowered it, mostly because I can't find a
reasonable lowering kit. While the car looks nice as is, I think it needs to be
lowered an inch.
I understand that Eibach will be offering a lowering spring set
for the V8 Coupe at some point but nothing as yet. H&R has nothing for the V8
either, and I am not really considering Brabus or Lorinser. They did not return
my calls. Any suggestions where to look for Lorinser and do they offer just
the springs? Or does one have to buy thier whole body package?

thanks for the reply.
i thought H&R has a spring for c207. i'm not sure if there's any differences between V8 and V6. i was gonna get H&R spring but i'd better check if there's spring just for V8. btw, you wheel is awesome~!

I dont have any decent pictures, and since it is snowing here, I have to wait a few days till it clears up. Then I'll post some picks.

Both H&R and Eibach show only the V6 application. If you use it on the V8 and it works please let us know!
Thanks for your comments on the wheels. I love them too (but the ride is harsh on 19" low profiles)

Try getyourwheels.com Call them and ask John. They have 19' CL63 replicas they
had on eBay, but I could not find the exact
E63 sport package replicas - five double spoke (plus a spoklet)

wow..those rims look NICE!!!! Very shape. I bet they ain't cheap even when they are just replica.

I have the same color and kit, except mine is a sedan. I would LOVE to have some BBS. Too bad it's my family weekend car.

MBStar, I am also planning to buy the same 19" AMG wheels for my upcoming E Coupe and I was wondering what brand and size of tires you have on those wheels. I also would like to know the ride quality with those 19" wheels, how is the comfort level? I am anxious to hear your comments. Thanks.

I used 19" staggered wheels and tires: r. 275/30/19 and f. 245/35/19
Going to from 18" to 19" the ride gets harder just because of the change in the aspect ratio (thinner
tire height), no matter what tire you use. If youup size but also change form say Pirelli P Zero Nero or
Continentals (both of which are of harder compound) to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus, you get relatively
less ride deterioration because this tire is made of somewhat softer compound. But despite that, the
ride is hard and noisy on my AMG suspended coupe. The car feels a bit like my 911 a few years ago,
on the awful Canadian roads. I think in Germany this would not be an issue. I don't know about Turkish roads.

I know Pilot Sport A/S tires well, and had used them in various wheel size combinations, and vehicles.
It handles beautifully on cold drizzled highways and very well in 2-4" of snow.
It is not a snow tire for a snow storm though.
It works for me in Toronto GTA area.
