Introducing SuperSprint's C207 E350/550 Exhaust Systems

CampioniShop is SuperSprint's newly appointed distributor in North America for Porsche, MB AMG, Audi S/RS applications. SuperSprint has developped a wide range of products for Mercedes-Benz including their new C207 E Coupe exhausts.

About Supersprint:

Established in 1955, Supersprint® developes and handcrafts the best sport car performance exhausts in the business. The engineers at Supersprint realize that for maximum performance, exhaust development must begin at the exhaust ports of the cylinder head. This is why Supersprint has the largest variety of racing header systems in the world today. Each header incorporates CNC laser cut port matched flanges. Primary tubes are mandrel bent using the latest CNC tube bending equipment. With special tooling Supersprint has been able to keep weld joints to a minimum for added reliability.

The fully appointed R&D department uses the latest in prototyping equipment along with the reliability and accuracy of a MAHA "all wheel drive" chassis dyno. With over 50 years in performance exhaust development they have earned the confidence of many of Europe's most respected tuners. Most units are 100% stainless steel.
  • Mandrel bent
  • Full systems available
  • Dyno tested
  • CNC machined
  • 304 stainless steel
  • Hand welded joints
  • Unlimited mileage warranty
  • Made in italy

The system is available in 2 configurations: cat-back or axle-back.

You have the options to use the following parts:
  • Center resonated X pipe
  • Center racing X pipe
  • Connecting pipe for axle-back
  • Rear mufflers
  • 4x80mm tips
  • 4x90x70mm tips
  • 4x120x80mm tips * for AMG bumper only
  • Connecting pipe for OE tips
Pricing:
TBA - we are awaiting confirmation on a few part numbers.

Sound clips:
Unfortunately the kit was designed on the Diesel version. This is a sport exhaust upgrade, the race X pipe will give it a lot more noise whereas the resonated X pipe will retain a civil tone.

The workmanship looks OK from what can be seen.
Posted above: "the kit was designed on the Diesel version". Did SuperSprint design this exhaust to handle the horsepower/torque of the M278 bi-turbo engine?

Also, the turbos will effect the sound of the exhaust system: especially compared to a diesel. That's why hearing the sound is important (especially for 2012 E550 owners).
Promising though and looking forward to additional information and installed photos.
Thanks!

Hey John,

All E Coupe and E classes share the same exhaust system from the cat-back from the factory.

Once they get into production, we will have additional pictures that will show the intricate details of the system.

We would be willing to pass along discounts to the first system in the US for these.

Learn something new every day!
I didn't know that all E's shared the same from cat-back.
Great information as usual and seeing the photos will help.
Thanks!

I'm after the center section and 200 cell cats - depending on price, if it's what I perceive as not worth it I'll just get a custom center section and some 200 cell cats from a shop near me

This is a cat-back, SuperSprint did not engineer a new front cat pipe. This will only fit as a full cat-back, you cannot fit the mid pipe separately as the system was re-routed for better flow.

Are you 100% on that? If so I might not bother with it, I had my car on ramps on saturday to fit my quads and to me that center section looks very similar to the standard center section, just with slightly straighter pipework.. the ends that connect to the rear section/back boxes look as if they would be ok for fitment with my quads

Yes, the center section absolutely won't fit on the stock rear mufflers, you will need to fabricate adapter pipes.

Ahh maybe we've misunderstood each other I'm not running stock rear mufflers.. I've had to cut part of the center section to allow my aftermarket ones to fit correctly but now I'm querying whether I'd be able to have the SS center section but modify the ends to fit my after market rear mufflers, from being under the car for a few hours and if that picture is what the parts are I can't see why not

Would the system for an E63 fit or is the shown system used on an E63?
If all E's share from cat-back this would be interesting. I believe the E63 system would be engineered for additional flow.

No, the E63 systems will not fit.

Dr-Nab - then yes you could run the SS mid section but might need adapter pipes.

2014 E550 4Matic with P1/LED/Pano
the E Coupe is based on the W204/C-Class chassis, therefore a C63 exhaust would have a better chance of fitting.

On another note, is there any provision for connecting to the stock E550 exhaust finishers? It would only take a little s-bend to do it. Around here, "bright and shiny" = cop magnate. I'd LOVE a full SS system that sounds good but doesn't attract unwanted attention.

Any news on this?

Also, since in the site it's only available a exhaust system for the ECoupe 500, can I fit in my ECoupe 350CDI (2010) the exhaust system for the E350CDI(W212)?

The rear sections of the exhaust system are the same for the 6 and 8 cylinder models just the tips that are different so the rear section of an aftermarket exhaust for an E500 coupe would fit an E350 CDI coupe as the mount points and pipe work are the same. Only differences would be with the resonator and cat-forward parts.

Nice I got on my 350CDI the difuser and tips from the 500 version, so the 500 rear section exausht system will work fine (plug n´play) on the my 207?

if you've got the tips and the diffuser then you should be able to just remove the old tips and diffuser replace them with the new ones - the oval tips are bolted on to the exhaust pipe but you could probably just cut them off

I got my exhaust end costumized to end like an ''S'' to fit in the middle of the 500 trapsoidal tips, but I could go with these:

http://www.supersprint.com/en/prod-c...exhaust_l.aspx

&

http://www.supersprint.com/en/prod-c...exhaust_r.aspx

...right? Maybe I would not need to work the exausht ends like an ''S'' because the system it's for the 500, or still do I needed to costumize it?
