Best Looking Car on the Road!
Hi All,
I post a little on the w212 forum (I have a 2013 w212 4matic). I was just in LA around Beverly Hills and saw alot of CLSs and e350s. Whenever I saw the e350 coupe the first thing comes to mind is gorgeous. It also looks like a more expensive, 100k car than the e350 sedan. Congrats to all the owners here!

2012 E550 Coupe
Can't argue with that. I agree. That's probably why I can't stop staring at mine and can't help not turning to look at it after I park it in a parking lot.

Amen to that! Just the other day someone asked me about the price. Of course, couldn't help but ask him to guess it and he thought it must be close to $180K-$200K. In India, the car is worth around 108K though!

If it were not for Mercedes building the E Coupe there is no way I would be driving a Mercedes. I'm a coupe guy through and through (my last favorite car was a Cadillac Eldorado and I also own an Infiniti G35 coupe which is mechanically the same as the Nissan Z car which has ben on my wish list since 1970). I always wanted to own a Mercedes but they had never built a sexy car that I could afford until the E coupe. I paid more for my E coupe than a E sedan so I don't want to hear about the E's C chassis. The new E sedan chassis (2010) is based on the C chassis. Is the E Coupe a great car...to me yes!!!

My wife and I have had our E350 Coupe for almost a year now, we really enjoy the car.
It is quite a beautiful looking car indeed, especially its unique pillarless coupe design. Even in a sea of beautiful cars in our area, the E Coupe still turns heads and we often receive compliments of the car.

Styles come and go.....
I was surprised recently when I went to a local Chevrolet dealer for a hot rod show. I too like the pillarless design of the E550 coupe I've ordered from Mercedes, but I'd forgotten that the Chevys from the late 1950s into the 1970s all had the pillarless roof design on their two door coupes! Maybe that styling cue from the cars of my high school years has affected my taste in cars even now. Seeing those large cars with their windows down from the side, and no pillar marring the flow of the roofline, instantly made me think of the modern Mercedes.
