2006 CLS55 AMG Sold 2010 E550 Coupe totaled '13 SL550 current and loving it!
My car is a 2010 E550 coupe. Would I be able to do a simple swap with a wheel from a 2010 C63 AMG? I don't need the latest and greatest, I just want a nice thick, smaller diameter wheel. Would I have to do the chip and whatever else or would it be plug and play since same year?

That is a straight plug n play swap. As long as the airbag is the same or you need that as well.

You need a new stalk or correct plate and buttons for w212. Where do wheel come from?

Awesome video.. Thank you so much. Would you mind showing me exactly what is compatible with my model? I posted a picture above I believe.. it's a W212 with 4 spokes. It has lane assist and blind spot monitoring. I'd like one of the newer wheels.

As I said. Any of them work. You do need a wheel with vibration though if you want it to still vibrate.

I'm hesitant because your wheel in the video is a 3 spoke 2012+, my car is a 2012 but my wheel is a 4 spoke 2011 style.. I'm worried i'll run into problems

Did you get your new wheel to work? I'm in the same boat as you and wondering if I need the steering column

Chris, do you think you could do a video for a 4 spoke swap? Your videos are on point...

E250 CGI Cabriolet
I have a question - Do you need to replace the steering column clock spring for this swap?

Thanks.

can you please tell me which chip you swapped and how I have the same issue I swapped my OEM steering wheel off of my 2011 E550 for the AMG steering wheel that came off of a 2014 E550. All the button functions looked identical, but my buttons horn and pad shifters don’t work on the new steering wheel. Any help would be appreciated since you’ve done the same thing can you show me and tell me what needs to be swapped thank you so much in advance.
