DIY: Steering Wheel Swap

My car is a 2010 E550 coupe. Would I be able to do a simple swap with a wheel from a 2010 C63 AMG? I don't need the latest and greatest, I just want a nice thick, smaller diameter wheel. Would I have to do the chip and whatever else or would it be plug and play since same year?

As I said. Any of them work. You do need a wheel with vibration though if you want it to still vibrate.

can you please tell me which chip you swapped and how I have the same issue I swapped my OEM steering wheel off of my 2011 E550 for the AMG steering wheel that came off of a 2014 E550. All the button functions looked identical, but my buttons horn and pad shifters don’t work on the new steering wheel. Any help would be appreciated since you’ve done the same thing can you show me and tell me what needs to be swapped thank you so much in advance.
