C63 Multispokes on E550 Coupe
I was just wondering does anybody know how the fitment will be like by putting a set of 19" C63 AMG multispokes on an E550 coupe?
There is only 1 picture I have seen, and it is from member efan. He seemed to have fitted the multi spokes on his car, but he has also done a ton of stuff to it so not sure how it would look like on a not so much modified E-coupe. 19x8 ET45 19x9 ET54 I looked through many of the wheel threads and most people are running 19x8.5 / 9.5 with ET30-40s. Just looking for some feedback. I am set on these wheels though. :naughty: |

Ideal would be ET 40 offset for 8" rim I have a 9" rim front and ET38 rim.. a bit too aggressive but I like it. In all.. they will work but without spacers they will be pushed in a little. |
Thanks for the reply!
Did the E550 coupe ever come with 19s? Does anybody know what the specs were for those? I guess I will look for some spacers to make it look more aggressive. I just wanted to make sure that the wheels will clear everything. |
You can use 19x8 ET45
19x9 ET54 without any problem. They are meant to fit the E coupe. I verified the info on mercedes website ODUS. My question though is how wide can you go ? Mercedes recommends 235/255 I would rather go with 245/275. Please tell me what you did as I am planning to do the same as you |
Hi,
Yes, I did end up getting the 19" multispokes for the E. Offsets are a little weak, but that can be fixed with spacers. As of now, the E is running 235/255 tires, but I don't see a problem with 245/275s. I have the exact same wheels on my C63 and that is running 235/265. 245/275 were my choice, but because of inventory limitations I sized down to 235/265s. |

Can you confirm what 245/275 sizes you were looking at? 245/35, 275/30? |
Thank you guys for your time and answers.
Is the use of spacers mandatory for the size I wish to put : 245-35-19 and 275-30-19 rear. My car is stock : stock suspension stock everything... Did you run the 245/275 without spacers ? Any issue ? |
245/35/19 and 275/30/19 were the sizes I wanted to run. Those sizes were for my C63 though so not too sure about the E-coupe. I think it would be the same though.
I know on my C63, lowered on H&R I cannot fit 10mm spacers in the rear using 265 tires because it will rub. I will assume if the Ecoupe is the same as the C-class, as long as you don't lower your car, you should be fine with 275s in the rear. |

Finally installed them
Hello guys,
I put the new 19 Multispokes with 235 /255 ( Continental sport contact 3) how ever I slipped really bad in a sharp curve, maybe it's because the tyres are still new ? I don't know... I didn't pick them they came with the wheels that I bought from eBay... Anyone has any experience with them ? I'm thinking once it's time to change the tires to put 265 in the back https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...eeb961a416.jpg About to put new shoes https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...a383a98542.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...fdade27fa5.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...6769d8b261.jpg |

Amg badge
The Amg badge is not for posing. It's more because its equipped with the Amg package. Otherwise I could have put 63 which my E sounds way better than a stock 63
I'm actually considering debadging it all |

Well Done! Great Choice! I gotta look into this!
|
I just put new wheels on my 2015 E550. They are 19", et Front 45, Rear 54. The width is 8.5 front, 9.5 rear. The tires are 245 35 front, 275 30 rear. My tires are just inside my fenders, more aggressive than stock but not excessive. As for speedo error, I did the math. The difference in height, from center of hub (i.e., radius), is only .2". Negligible, indeed.

New Wheels and Tires
2 Attachment(s)
Got my calipers painted this past week and the car washed today. So here are pics of my new wheels and tires.
The wheels are 19 8.5 front, 19 9.5 rear. Tires are All Season Continentals, 245 35 front, 275 30 rear. I did the math, front and rears are only .20" taller. |
