Please help with 19'' wheels and tires before i pull the trigger

I have been trying to research this to the max. I found some 19'' wheels I want Front 19x8.5'' ET45, Rear 19x9.5' ET50 Will these be good? They dont seem too aggressive, maybe if i feel the need to go more I can do 5mm spacers on each?

For the tires I hear 275/30/19 Rear, and 245/35/19 for fronts? Is all good here? What if I plan to lower 1'' with springs? Will I have any issues with my setup? anything else stand out to anyone here? I appreciate the responses

Those tire sizes work fine and are the recommended setup for 19" wheels on the E-Coupe. I run 19x8.5 ET40 255/35-19 Front and 19x9.5 ET45 285/30-19 Rear with flush fitment and no rubbing (I am not lowered) on my E550 Coupe:

Those offsets should be fine including if lowered however best to confirm with the wheel manufacturer / dealer (to ensure clearance of brake calipers and suspension).

thanks for the response, I have seen where front offset is good at 19x8.5 ET35?? THey do make the wheel in FRONT with a 35 offset, should I go that route instead of the 45? Or should just play it safe and do the 45, and get a 5-10mm spacer if I feel like its not out enough once on?

I as well have seen several with +35 Offset for the front which will poke out 5mm more but should be fine. Tire size should be considered so with a 245/35-19 tire that should be good but with a 255/35-19 that may cause issues if lowered and tire may poke out too far.

My personal preference is not to have to use spacers if at all possible especially with the wheel options available that do provide perfect fitment (based on personal taste).

What is the wheel brand / model? Need to confirm with them if the wheel style will clear the calipers and suspension with +45 Offset. As +35 Offset pushes wheel out more - that is less likely to interfere with calipers and suspension.

I am almost sure I am going 245/35 and 275/30 for tire sizes unless theres a valid reason not to? I am not worried about any extra width beyond that

a 35 vs 45 mm offset would push the wheel out 10mm more not 5 correct?

Correct. I was referencing vs. my front +40mm offset (a known fitment as you can see in my pictures).

245/275 are the recommended sizes for 19" wheels for the E-Coupe by most of the reputable aftermarket wheel manufacturers. I was going to go that route initially but liked the idea of a little wider tire for traction and little higher sidewall for protection of wheel and fill wheel gap slightly more. I was taking a risk as the dealer I got my Vertini RF1.1 wheels from did not recommend going to 255/285 for the E-Coupe but I did see this setup on more than a few E-coupe members on this forum.

gotcha, did u change lug nuts? know anything about them, factory is a ball seat right? When I go to new wheels I want taperd? And our cars are m14x1.5? the stock length is about 27mm? So thats what I should go with on the new wheels im assuming? So many different things makes my brain spin lol. All the buying online makes it that much harder, have to make sure u get the right thing the first time

I did get new lug bolts including wheel lock bolts. 14x1.5x24mm is what I got - work perfectly for my specific wheels (Vertini RF1.1). You need to verify with wheel manufacturer what the appropriate lug nut sizes / type. Obviously if you use spacers - need longer lug bolts.

What did you end up going with?
