New guy with a old question I'm sure (WHEELS AND TIRES)
 
I have a 2012 E350 coupe with the AMG wheels. 8" front with 49mm offset and 8.5" rear with 45mm offset.

I'm looking at new front 8.5 and rear 9.5's both with 45mm offset. The offset calculators seem to indicate this is a fine combination.

I'd probably still run the 235/40/18 front tire but I'm open to suggestions.

Main question is what is the ideal rear tire size for the 9.5" wheel?

The E550 coupe comes with 255/35-18 rear tires. Not sure what the rear wheel width is or if that helps you but... there it is.

you can do 245/40-18 f and 265/35 or even 275/35 r. If you wanna save the fronts, your 235/40 18 would still be ok.
