Spark Plug Change 2012 A207

Are there any videos out there that show how to change the spark plugs? I've done YouTube searches and forum searches and have found nothing. I'm used to removing the two engine covers from my old W204 and just popping the plugs out. Seems as though this engine it isn't that easy...
Thanks!
Matt

Oh wow, I did find something. Pretty much have to disassemble the engine to get to it. Sounds like this is going to be a dealer job....:-(

Check this out: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...moval-diy.html

It's a 30-minute do-it-yourself.

Yeah I found that PDF file. It just surprised me how much different the A207 engine was from my older W204. I just assumed (silly me) that they are both 3.5L V6 and would be similar in setup. I could bang through an oil/air/spark change on that car in about an hour total, which included sucking oil time. This one was much more complex. I was okay with the steps until the person said he had to "build a tool" to remove the coil pack. I'm still not sure if I want to tackle this job, if I do I'll video it and post it.

Changing the plugs and wires is simple, there's a tutorial out there that even states be ready to break a plug coil wire, but I have changed all of mine including wires without trouble. The most difficult part is "space", not much room to work for the back cylinders and requires slow movements and steady hands to not drop any tools or bolts etc..The first time took me 2-3 hours with hand tools. If you replace the plugs I'd just go ahead and replace all of the wires while you're at it. OEM from autohaus or something like that only cost like 8-11 per wire which isn't bad and saves you any hastle from a future change IMO.

edit: I just pulled the plug wires by hand and leaving the coil pack end connected to the wire, but disconnected from the harness for leverage to pull against. Tough, but doable and pull out at the angle in which the plug is inserted to make it easier, still tough though.

This is what I went by and my own intuition on some things as everyone's experience is different. Just make sure to have all the exact tools and swivel joints especially as they make everything easier
