E250 Coupe 2013 - Sticking in sports mode - ride level sensor fault

Hi all,

Having an issue with our 2013 E250 coupe 33k miles

It starts and pulls away in Eco but by the end of the street it’s automatically switched into Sport mode and this can’t be switched off. Not the worst problem but not great for driving around town.

Had it to the local garage today for diagnostics, the error code

C156F - Plausibility- ride level sensor, intermittent

We had a quick look and discovered a small plastic arm (NSF) had broken and think this is the issue causing the fault.

ive had a look online and can’t find the part or anything even resembling it.
Does anyone recognise what this is?
Is it part of the sensor assembly?
Has anyone else had this issue?
Any input/advice would be much appreciated!

thank you
