Build code for staggered width 18 inch AMG 5 spoke wheels for a 2018 e 400 cabriolet
I am in the process of ordering a 2018 e400 cabriolet. I want to make sure I get staggered width 18 inch AMG 5 spoke wheels for my RWD. I received a build code of RQR which only stipulated 18 inch AMG 5 spoke wheels. Is staggered width assumed for this code?

If you choose an optional 18" or 19" wheel in the MBUSA build section you will get a pop up that states certain wheel selections are staggered. It is a $2,500 option that must be added in the selection process. My '18 E400 came equipped with 19" staggered wheels perhaps because it is a 25th anniversary model. The 19's fill out the wheel wells nicely. I'm thinking of 5mm spacers just to push them out a little.

no ... the code you cited is specific to the non-staggered 18" AMG 5 spoke wheels. assuming no differences between the coupe and the cab, the code you should be looking for is RQJ.

Thanks 4MaticCoupe, Confirmed with salesman that you were absolutely correct. I can't believe for an $80,000 ordered build that the sales person they can't get the code correct. Don't know how the outcome would have been corrected by dealer upon completed build. Just confirmed build order with new code. Thanks again.
