Will donor seat work?
So after searching I found a seat that looks identical other than a minor stitching outline.
Before I purchase I want to ensure that the seat will fit. Mercedes said the seat should bolt on but some of the connectors may be different - they are not 100% sure.
Here is the donor WDDKJSHB5GF316568
Here is my vin
WDDKJ5GB3AF042421
If anyone can confirm please let me know!

its from a junkyard. Merecedles dealership could read the vin. Said the seat will bolt in but not sure if the control module needs to be rewired. Not sure what that means and if I should go ahead
I wonder why some people can’t access the vin.

You need to confirm full VIN I pointed 1 potential error others exist. When I have the correct VIN I will pull model year & codes on donor to see if seats match.

Codes are in alignment including rear bench seat. Only difference I see is seat CU not sure if they can be swapped. Your vehicle left 2129005200 (code 275 memory package), right 2129005300 (242 electric adjustment w/memory switch); donor 1729006903 (275), 1729007003 (242). As far as I can tell seem to compare fine.

Again, excuse any dumb questions.
I only have the driver's side seat to swap. What is Seat CU?
Computer Unit?
I know the leather is a little different. Donor has Nappa and has a solid stitching but i think that can work fine.
I think the seat will bolt in but will the connector work and all the settings? It's from a 2016 going in 2010
thanks so much!

OK, I give up! What the hell is a "donor seat"? I Googled the term and all I found was a chair to sit in while donating blood, which seems a bit odd for a car.
