Cost of Mercedes’ 20” SMG alloys
My dealer has quoted me a price of £977 for a single 20” AMG alloy for my 2018 E Class Coupe.
I thought that seemed a bit toppy, so I wondered if anyone here could advise?
Thanks

Go to the internet market sellers. All kinds of OEM MB wheels available at reasonable prices. Just did a wheel and tire upgrade on one of my old Benzes and was pleasantly surprised at the availability. Granted, you nee to be careful with some of these wheel suppliers so be sure to do your due diligence. Good luck.

People spending $7000 to over $10,000 for wheels? Must be nice to have money to throw around. Yet, I see posts grousing about the cost of an oil change or whether standard gas can be substituted for premium gas cars to save a few cents. Priorities, I guess.

Not in this thread...
£977 x 4 is $4,980 today.
I guess your point still stands though!

That seems a lot, but having said that, I am not surprised TBH.
I have 20 AMG multi spokes factory fitted and they were £595 (total for the 4) extra, on top of the 'standard' 19" AMG's.
I think that was something of a bargain and am glad I got them as they look much better than 19"s which seem too small for the wheel arch, in my opinion.
I bought aftermarket copies, made in China as spares
Original AMG's
Copies
and they are really good.
They cost £700 for 4 from eBay.

Funny that you should mention wheel costs, just found a crack on one of the wife's RTY spec 20" AMG wheel. List price is something like $1,000 USD plus a $150 core charge with the dealer knocking the price down to $750. Absolutely no idea what's up with the core charge bit.
Not impressed as all the car sees are reasonably decent California and Arizona roads. There was no sign of impact damage to the wheel or tire. Glad to find that the GLC63 that I'm looking at doesn't have 30 or 35 aspect ratio tires.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Ya, the OEM wheels are not that great. Interesting picture, more interesting is the trans shift pattern Tatoo, lol I'd just go with a set of Mandrus wheels which are aftermarket designed for Mercedes for like 300 dollars a wheel. I have the "23's" on my wagon and really like them.
