New guy with 1984 300d
I just scored a 1984 300D sedan with 231K original miles for $1000. It has minimal rust for an East Coast car. Options include all the standard stuff but has leather interior and rear seat headrests. Everything works and AC blows kind of cold. It's not a show car but I hope to have fun with it as I bring back some glory... already sourced a set of Euro bumpers for $100.00.

Capn Welcome to the forum .This W123 car is like the one i first purchased some time ago . It was mint , and one of the best Mercedes i ever had. It was fitted with the 2.3 engine in petrol . .Wish i had it right now. Hope you enjoy it like i did .

A 300D from 1985 was my first benz. Bought it sight unseen over a motorcycle forum, flew to Nashville to pick it up and drove it home over 5 years ago. That car turns heads, and the 5 cylinder diesel growl is a sound unlike any other. I've since gotten into an '05 E320 CDI, but the 300 D is still in my driveway. For sale...
