W122 240d transmission fault?
Hi Guys.
there is a 1981 W123 240d for sale near me with a transmission fault.
he says it’s ‘lost’ 2nd gear and has 180,000 miles.
is this ‘adjustment ‘ or would the transmission need replacement?
Any comments appreciated

Out Of Control!!
If you can get the car for say 500 bucks----put a rebuilt transmission in the car! Otherwise let some other unsuspecting sap purchase the car!
