Recommended Parts Sources
Recently purchased an 85 W123 Coupe and with 244k miles it is going to need a bunch of work. I am wondering who the best parts sources are for this car. Based on previous experience I am Iooking for:
1. Best quality parts available
2. The supplier must also work on cars, so they know what parts actually fit and work
3. Have somebody you can actually talk with on the phone
4. Able to supply most parts
Thanks in Advance!

Having maintained a number of old Benz' including my present 1983 300CD, I can tell you that there is no single source for parts.
I use ebay, peachparts, autohausaz, meercedessource, and any other I can find that has what I need. You will find few sources for OE parts but many for OEM, used and aftermarket. Our cars are like old Harleys. There will always be plenty of parts to service and maintain them but no single source.
