New Pictures
As some of you knew, the Pasadena MB Meet was on this weekend.
I got there pretty late but still managed to have my buddy Ling snap some photos of my ride. Special thanks to him for the fabulous pictures. :y Here they are... http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/5656/img05122ua.jpg http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/498/img05154rd.jpg http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/4876/img05163eo.jpg http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/8939/img05177dt.jpg http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/9105/img05216pk.jpg http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/3339/img05205an.jpg http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/5460/img05195go.jpg http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/2658/img05222gt.jpg That's all. These pictures will do good for awhile until I have some new mods. LOL :naughty: |
nice and clean! :y

Looks like you're ready to install a hood from a '94-'95!
|
leave the hood as is I think, it's more agressive than the newer 94-95 hoods IMO.
The car looks freaking slick, good job on it. :zoom: |
I like the old style, too.
Even better with headlights that match. |
thanks for the kind words guys. :)
I'm actually thinking about a hood upgrade to be honest. I'm only rockin' 94-95 style headlights because the seller from Germany sent me the wrong ones! :hammer: I didn't want to wait a month to get an replacement either as I sold my stock headlights once I got mine. Anyways - It's not something I'm too worried about. I do however want to drop the rear a little bit but I don't know how that's going to work. lol :p: and yes I know I need a new license plate. haha |
mmmwwwaaaaahhhh beautiful! still not rockin center caps man? i do agree with the update the hood idea but either way its sick! LOVIN 124's!!!!!!!
|
thanks bro - Yeah, Sadly I don't have center caps yet for my car. I'm still awaiting on a friend of mine to see what can be done. Although, I have found a source from Germany who has told me that there might be some AMG center caps left technically available from MB itself in Germany. Let's hope this is true, I still have to reply to their email with the part# of my wheels and the dimension of the center caps. :hammer:
... and your C43 is looking clean man. Keep up the good work. I was discussing with some fellow MB people at the meet this weekend and we all agreed that a W202 would be a nice car to own. Hell, Maybe someday I'll be rocking one because they are seriously one of my favorite cars still from MB today. |
i know what u mean about the 202, its almost a more rounded slightly smaller 124 shape,,, some people i nkow dont even notice i have a different car... there like oh u put black rims on ur car.. and im like umm no man that car is done.. haha but yah i went with the 202 prob cause of my boss, he has a 94 c280, black on black on chrome... all done up.. i loved that car so i chose to go the same way but i stepped it up with the amg and now there tryin to sell haha! so u have some tiny center caps or something? regulars dont fit? where did u get ur rims? there mono I's right?? ( see ash i know the difference haha) anyway im ****in jealous that i cant come to these meets, why the F do i live in canada...errrr maybe one day everyone can help with my move cali style! haha ill need to open a tint shop... its my craft! ahha k peace yall, i took off all the decals on my car, the amg ones in the quarters.. the tint factory one on the back,,,, its all clean ass now, im thinking about paint soon! damn black door handles! ( chris paint urs white homie! and ur bumpers and side skirts too! :)
|
Yeah, W202's are definitely nice when they are done right.
Yeah, The center caps on the Hammer's are 2.5" opposed to the standard MB size of 3" I wish they were all the same so things would be much easier on me. I got my wheels on ebay luckily, someone here on the forums tipped me off to the seller and I still don't and can't remember who told me but I need to thank him. Anyways, I will be painting my car soon actually. Once I receive side skirts, but that's if the deal goes through as I don't know what is going on at the moment. Either way, the body panels will be painted white soon and I'll be doing some other mods so stay tuned. :y and you should definitely move to CA, it's the place to be when it comes to the awesome MB meets. Open up a tint shop and hook me up with some free tint. :D |
it would be my pleasure to tint any w124 haha :) and i cant wait to see the car painted! uve really come along way with her!
|

Just drive over to Ramil's place without a hood and when you get there bolt the new one on. LMAO. :hammer:
|
doh!
abraham, bro, you have not contacted me for a long time. i thought you don't like it anymore. chris already paid for it. i deeply apologize. i'll be on the look out for one for you. -ram |
I wasn't on the forums for a while but the money was not a problem it was how do i bring it home.... but like chris said it was either drive without a hood to your house.....or drive with a hood on my roof from simi valley to long beach....but last time i was between the old look with euros and the updated hood with euros?....and others had dibs on them so....i figured you ran out....but let me know

hey Chris Looks great with all the mods you did I really like it!
Just a thought as far as the front plate if you didn't want to do the filler strip, the blank euro plate works pretty well. I did it on mine in which the frame and blank black license plate was about 20 bucks total. I dunno I think it worked pretty well and was a quick easy improvement. What did you paint the grill insert with? It lasts pretty good? |
thanks! :)
where did you pick up the Euro plate for? and do you know of a place where I can get the filler strip for the front license plate? I would do that but I don't know of any way to obtain one. It does look nice on your car however, makes it look extra clean in the front. |
chris u just need that lil piece? u can have it for free man , ill just figure out the shipping cost and ill send it... pm me ur address
