you can hear the fans
Are you sure the fans run at 80 degrees? I can hear the fans switch on and off. They NEVER run at that low of a temp, usually well above 80 and for me that has only happened a few times. Sometimes while stopped in traffic or at the coffee drive-thru (the only 2 times I ever stop w/ motor running

the fans on my 92 300e turn on around 80 just like JayAre, but on my 95 e320, they turn on around 100 like YNVDIZW124...Maybe the fans have a certain starting point for each car and is different because of year and engine?
