Here are some pics. Sounds ok for now and can actually fit 3 subs but will do that when i get the other matching sub and a better amp.

low bass their ok but with more power they suck ***. I got them cheap so to me it's better than nothing. One fosgate power hx2 would take this pair out. If i had the money i would get a RE XXX or an adire brahma. I notice if i point them firing up under the package tray the bass sound cleaner. I need to port the box and tune it but the bass still sounds flat. I wouldn't buy them at retail.

I did it when i was bored because i have a electric saw, router, jig saw, air compressor, nail gun, staple gun, and mdf wood just siting there. Also some extra suede so i would suggest you buy a box close to the specs to your subs if you don't have these tools. I'm doing a center console and custom trunk box with fiberglass on my 69 mustang that's why i bought all these tools. I could build a house if i wanted to lol...

so if a sealed box with 1 sub should have .75ft^3 should i just double it if there are 2 subs in the box? or is there another equation to do?

Can I reccomend the Stereo Integrity MAG or SoundSplinter RL-p

both cost less and put up similar SQ and output as the above mentioned, with better customer service!

I can afford the subs and i've used them before in other cars and i like the crisp tight bass response. I can't afford the quality amps and rewiring of the electrical system i would need to power these suckers. I pretty much need a bigger alternator, expensive wiring, and a yellow top optima to get them to sound good. I don't want to buy quality subs and only hear them at 1/4 of their capacity. I haven't really heard of those brands but i've seen alot of copies of those subs that use the 12 spoke basket used on the XXX or the 4 spoke basket on the brahmas. I have to hear them first before buying them.

I have a way to get everything for cheap and if i can't i'll make it. Like my sub box was only about $15 since i had most of the materials laying around. I don't want to do SQL or SPL comps so i don't think im going to be spending tons of money on my system just to drive around.

I know your going to go like what????....but im going to put 3 hitron...yes hitron 500w max subs and three small 300w rms amps. it sounds crazy but i just want to see what kind of bass i can get for only about $250 or less. Those subs are about $19.99 each and the amps are like $39. cheap cheap cheap! i don't expect the sound quality to be great at all just loud.
