I am thinking about getting these, but I would like to see them on a W124. Something tells me they may look a little too ricer.

The first ones you showed us, I believe shadowgriffen has them. Except they aren't chrome they're black. Look the same though besides the color.

Agreed.

Soak it in water the day before and it sit outside - use it when you see rust on the edges.

i can't imagine those lights are of high quality...or will keep their shine for more than a few years. Invest in some good original euros. I'm guessing you want to do something new and different than everyone else, but there is a reason why so many get the euros.
I've stated this in a thread about these lights before, but i'll say it again. Those crystal clear headlights just don't fit the look of the car. When looking at a w124 with those lamps, ones attention is immediately drawn (in most cases) to the headlights! Why? Because they don't belong...and don't flow with the rest of the car.
You've got a good lookin set of wheels, and i'd hate to have the headlights take away from them. Mercedes w124 engineers would cry if they saw those lights on one of their masterpieces.

Basically, I cant see ****. EVER. So, if these lights illuminate well, are servicable for HID retrofit, and seat well in the body of my car, well then hell, I can handle having them look a little out of place.

If you can't see ****, thank the DOT, then throw your lights away and get some Euros that have far superior light output.

When I picked up my TE the headlighs were so poor it scared me to drive at night. Euros are a must, Rice-o's are a no no

The US version headlights are a joke. Euros are what was originally intended for the w124 and have great output. H4 HID adapter's can be used on the euros and put out great light if you are still not satisfied.

The Euro dims cut off sharply at the angle just before shining into opposing traffic. They're actually safer but the DOT spec. is too old and stupid to allow them.

So has anyone seen Euros (whole set) for less than $635?
I'm ready to buy them.

I have driven at night and gone past my bro who had HID's on his w124 and they did not blind me. The beam pattern isn't directed at oncoming cars (if its aimed correctly). Whether you have projector or regular euro, it will have nearly the same effect.
People complain about them when they see them and notice they are bright and different that halogen bulbs, so they look at them. But when you look at the bright light...its going to affect your eyesight once the car passes.
